Getting the Word Out!
After investing tens of thousands of dollars in a new top-tier equestrian training and boarding facility, owner, Greg Kallmeyer, needed to reach prospective boarders and others with Kallmeyer Equestrian Center’s unique value proposition. JSR-PR & Marketing was retained to both raise the overall profile of Kallmeyer Equestrian Center (KEC) in general, and specifically to generate interest in the facility, its offerings and services among Tristate equestrians.
The Way Forward
A three-pronged approach was decided upon, including a grand opening event, an aggressive PR push and a social media blitz.
JSR-PR & MARKETING SECURED A HIGH-PROFILE 2-PAGE FEATURE IN THE CINCINNATI ENQUIRER, FOCUSING ON KALLMEYER AND HIS UNIQUE CLASSICALLY-CENTERED HORSEMANSHIP SKILLS.
To strengthen the overall “footprint” of Kallmeyer Equestrian Center, JSR-PR & Marketing also developed a new website, highlighting KEC’s facilities, amenities and service offerings. KEC’s Facebook page was also revamped to include a link to the Cincinnati Enquirer, pinned to the top of the page.
The combined social media push, grand opening, Cincinnati Enquirer 2-page feature, and grassroots marketing campaign not only promoted awareness of, generated interest in, and raised the overall profile of Kallmeyer Equestrian Center, it also produced tangible business results. In addition to new boarders, who became aware of the facility due to the marketing outreach, strategic business relationships were formed, which have resulted in additional revenue streams for the business.
